Isle Cafe (Cuppage)

Delicious and affordable food right in the heart of town! They offer a great selection of dishes, all consistently flavourful. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making it a nice spot to escape the hustle and bustle of the city.

This cafe occupied all the corners, one it’s the kitchen & food area. The other 2 corner are all the seating area. It can be quite crowded as they offer the most affordable meal around Orchard area and all the dishes taste exactly like home cooked. Not like others cai fan stall. Saltiness is just rightly delicious and not overly done on the flavor. I didn’t aware that they served brown rice until I read their review. I think I will come back for more. It will be a good all time fav go to place to fuel up, before or after shopping, working, workout, and it’s definitely value for money.

Plenty of choices both meat and veg. Quite a queue at 1145 as expected from a weekday lunch crowd. $7 for 2M3V, do note you can only pay by cash from 12-230pm.

One of the better cai fan with variety of dishes to choose from. If you are in town and want a plate of comforting cai fan, head towards here. Most dishes are a hit than a miss.

Possibly the best Chai Png in Orchard. Tried their ala Carte menu which is also real good...especially its Lor Mee. In terms of price, it is quite difficult to beat them in terma of affordability. ONE ADVICE: lunchtime they only accept cash!

Budget meal at the heart of Orchard and arguably one of the most value for money location for meals, snacks and drinks, especially around the area. Dishes are made with real quality with a very nice tinge of home-cook flavour. Not too salty and overly flavorful compared to similar economic rice at nearby foodcourts. Absolutely a hidden gem within Cuppage Plaza. They accept Paynow but apparently during peak lunch hours (12-230pm), they only accept cash. I came on a weekend afternoon and managed to find a nice spot to eat but perhaps during weekdays it’s much harder to find a spot. They carry all sort of snacks as well for those looking for a quick bite nearby. Space is very clean, spacious, and relatively peaceful. Air-conditioned as well.

Can’t believe I didn’t know about this place until now! Amazing varieties of food - from economic rice to laksa noodles to Kuehs to desserts to snacks and pastries and those Kopitiam Kopi. I really love their bee hoon and dish choices. The 麻油鸡 and 咕噜肉 are nice! The tahu goreng is AMAZINGLY 开胃 The whole meal for 2 persons is only $13.30, with aircon and in the middle of Orchard road, where to find! Super long q during lunch and can only pay cash from 12-230pm. Really hidden gem !

Budget mix rice meal in the famous expensive Orchard Road precinct ,, used to eat here for years, today return to try their dishes again, food is really not bad. More importantly place is always clean and cooler temperature. Staffs also wear masks for hygiene purposes which I appreciate their effort. QR code available for payment. Self return trays and crockery. Be a good citizen. Taste and service is subjective.
